NEM.io Foundation and the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Business Law Conference 2018 at De La Salle University, Manila on July 28, 2018. This is in line with CEZA’s aim to provide a financial education (fintech) and blockchain education hub in the Cagayan Freeport that can also be a venue for other related events like exhibits, forums, and other activities for this purpose.

Sec. Raul Lambino delivers a speech at DLSU’s Business Law Conference 2018

On the same occasion, Sec. Lambino was invited as a main speaker at DLSU’s Business Law Conference 2018. With the theme, “Intro to Crypto”, the talk aimed to educate its participants by tackling the legal and financial implications of blockchain and cryptocurrency. About 1,200 participants that consisted of undergraduates of the school’s various degree programs, business students, law students, lawyers and business professionals attended the talk.
